Missing Photos After a CLOS Shoot? Troubleshooting Guide

If photos are missing from a CLOS album after a shoot, the cloud upload is usually still in progress. Here's how to fix it without losing files.

If you finish a virtual photoshoot and notice some photos missing from the album, the most common cause is a CLOS Cloud upload that hasn’t finished yet.

What to check first

If the album shows the message “Model is still uploading photos,” the photos are on the way — they just haven’t all reached the cloud. Ask the model to:

  1. Keep the CLOS app open on their device
  2. Keep the device unlocked
  3. Wait until every file has finished uploading to CLOS Cloud

Why it can take time

Upload speed depends on:

  • Internet connection quality — Wi-Fi is almost always faster and more stable than cellular
  • Number and size of files — a single RAW frame can be up to 25 MB (see JPG vs RAW)

We recommend uploading on a strong Wi-Fi signal whenever possible. Photos with previews in the album are already fully uploaded — those you can download immediately.

Critical: don’t delete the app early

Tell the model not to delete the CLOS app until uploads are complete. If the app is deleted mid-upload, anything that hasn’t reached the cloud yet will be lost with no way to recover.
