How to Record Videos in CLOS — Remote Video Capture

Switch CLOS to video mode and record full-quality video remotely. Step-by-step guide to recording, stopping and switching back to photo.

CLOS records video the same way it captures photos — the photographer or director controls the shutter remotely while the model’s device does the actual recording. It’s the workflow behind every remote video shoot, video testimonial and remote video interview.

Start recording

  1. At the bottom of the screen, switch the mode toggle to Video.
  2. Tap the shutter button to begin recording. The button turns red and a timer appears.
  3. To stop, tap the shutter button again.
  4. To go back to stills, switch the mode toggle to Photo.

Important note about cloud storage

Video files are not yet uploaded to CLOS Cloud automatically — that’s on our roadmap. For now, video files stay on the model’s device and need to be transferred manually after the session.

At a glance

  • Switch to Video mode at the bottom of the screen
  • Press the shutter button to start; press again to stop
  • Switch back to Photo when you’re done
