Flash, Exposure and Focus in CLOS — Remote Camera Controls
How to use CLOS's remote flash, manual focus and exposure controls. PRO plans add RAW format, ultra-wide and telephoto camera selection.
CLOS gives you the same camera controls a photographer would use on the device in their hand — flash, manual focus, exposure, lens selection and (on PRO plans) RAW format. It’s what makes CLOS suitable for fashion photoshoots, corporate headshots and product shoots at production quality.
What’s available by default
- Flash — toggle on or off
- Manual focus — tap to set the focus point
- Manual exposure — tap to set the exposure point, then drag the slider up or down
- Camera switch — the model can flip between the front and rear cameras
What unlocks with CLOS PRO
PRO subscribers get extra control on the main camera:
- Photo format — switch between JPG and RAW during the session
- Ultra-wide and standard cameras — switch between lenses if the model’s device has more than one rear camera
A note on RAW: not every Android device supports RAW capture. If RAW isn’t selectable, the model’s device probably doesn’t support it on the active camera.
At a glance
- Use the controls at the bottom of the screen to toggle flash, change format, switch lens or flip the camera.
- Tap the screen to set focus on a specific area. Tap and drag the slider to adjust exposure.
- If multiple subjects in the frame are confusing the focus, tap the screen again to reset focus and exposure.
